Just in: Pres. Tinubu appoints Dele Alake spokesman, Amb. Adeleke as State Chief of Protocol, Dada Special Adviser on Digital Media

Few hours after he was sworn in, President Bola Tinubu has announced the first set of appointments to kick-start his administration.

Ambassador Kunle Adeleke is the State Chief of Protocol (SCOP) to the President, while ex-Lagos State Commissioner for Information in the Bola Tinubu as governor, Mr Dele Alake is the Presidential spokesman.

Mr Olusegun Dada was named the Special Adviser on Digital Media.

All the appointments are with immediate effect.

Adeleke, an accomplished diplomat and lawyer, hails from Oyo State.

He joined the Nigerian Foreign Service in 1993 and rose through the ranks, serving in various missions abroad and at the headquarters including the State House, Abuja.
