Just in: Oyo Gov. Seyi Makinde re-elected, trounces APC’s Folarin by wide margin

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) which announced the results on Sunday afternoon in Ibadan, returned Makinde re-elected for a second term.

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde of the PDP has won Saturday’s governorship poll by an embarrassing margin against his closest rival, Sen. Teslim Folarin of APC.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) which announced the results on Sunday afternoon in Ibadan, returned Makinde re-elected for a second term.

Makinde won in 31 out of 33 Local Government Areas polling 563, 756 votes against Folarin’s 256, 685.
