The immediate past Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, has passed on.
Aged 78, Egbeyemi, who was Deputy Governor between 2018 and 2022 under Gov. Kayode Fayemi, died at 8pm on Friday during a brief illness.
His last public appearance was on February 25 when he cast his vote during the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
He died at a private hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
