Pres. Buhari begins two-day visit to home state, Katsina

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Thursday begin a two-day official visit to Katsina State, his home state.

While in the state, Buhari will be inaugurating some landmark projects executed by the Governor Aminu Masari administration.

The projects include Kofar Kaura Underpass, Kofar Kaura Water Works, Katsina State Internal Revenue House, Meteorological Institute, Darma Rice Mill, Batagarwa and the Katsina State General Hospital.

On Friday, the President will commission the Musawa General Hospital; Dayi Dangulle Road, Funtua; Sandamu-Baure-Babban- Mutum Road, Daura; and Gurjiya-Karkarku Road, Daura.

Meanwhile, the state government has declared Thursday and Friday as public holidays to enable citizens of the state to give a rousing welcome to Buhari.

The President arrived in the state on Wednesday night from Dakar, Senegal, where he participated in the 2nd Darkar Agricultural Summit.
