Popular comedian, Owomoyela Tobiloba, otherwise known as Peteru, who died during a brief illness, has been laid to rest in Ibadan.
A family statement obtained by Per Seconds News said the comedian was buried yesterday by a few members of his family in what was described as strictly a family affair.
Peteru died Wednesday, December 21 night in Ibadan after he lost the battle to an undisclosed ailment, leaving behind a son and an aged mother.
Persecondnews reports that celebrities in Nigeria mourned Peteru’s death across social media platforms on Thursday and Friday, extolling him as a “man who was totally committed to his craft.”
Peteru’s family has requested the public to remember them in their prayers, adding that other activities about Night of Tributes would be released in due course.
