Former President of the United States, Barack Obama, has released his top songs of 2022 with Nigeria’s Rema, BurnaBoy and Ayra Star’s songs making some of his favourites.

Obama published his top 2022 songs on Friday as he does every year and for the second time in two years, Nigerian music stars made the catalogue again.

Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ was mentioned, Ayra Starr’s hit single, ‘Rush’ was also listed as well as Rema’s ‘Calm Down’.

Fans of the singers are getting excited over the success recorded by their favourite music stars this year, and Obama’s recent post rating their songs has further confirmed their dominance of the music scene.

Captioning the list, Obama said:”I always enjoy sharing my end-of-year music playlist with all of you – and this year we heard a lot of great songs. Here are some of my favourites.”
