Pandemonium erupted in Ipaja area of Lagos on Friday evening after controversial street singer, Portable, knocked down a woman with his new SUV Mazda.
The Za Zu singer in a video that surfaced online was seen being dragged by residents and sympathisers, who tried to rescue the woman after the accident.
Portable, it was gathered, was coming from an event when he allegedly hit the woman, who was unconscious for a few minutes before she was revived.
In the video, Per Seconds News observed that Portable was dragged by thugs in the area as they insisted he should take the middle-aged woman to a nearby hospital for treatment.
He was pleading with the injured woman even as he made frantic efforts to take her to the hospital amidst the crowd that besieged the scene of the accident.
Persecondnews recalls that the street-hop artiste was performing at a show in the Ijegun area of Lagos when some unknown persons vandalized his Range Rover car.
He, however, acquired the new SUV early November 2022 to replace the damaged Rover.
