After Initial Denial, Atiku’s Team Confirms Per Second News Report as PDP Presidential Candidate Jets To Paris Enroute Dubai To Treat Nagging Back Pain

The Media Adviser to the Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has at last confirmed Persecondnews story it exclusively published yesterday that he will be travelling to Dubai and Europe today.

Paul Ibe, in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, said Atiku will be traveling immediately after his meeting on Friday in Lagos with the leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) alongside the PDP Vice-Presidential Candidate, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta.

He said: “The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar will travel to Europe this afternoon on a business trip.

“He will be traveling immediately after his meeting on Friday in Lagos with the leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) alongside the PDP Vice-Presidential Candidate, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta.

”Today’s trip is in continuation of an earlier business trip of three weeks ago.

“At the conclusion of his European trip, the former Vice President will also use the opportunity to visit his family in Dubai.

“His trip is for business and family purposes and has nothing to do with medicals as being insinuated in some quarters.”

Persecondnews had exclusively reported on Thursday that Atiku Abubakar was set to travel to Dubai again, this time for the treatment of a recurring and nagging back pain-  Atiku flies to Dubai on health grounds.

He is also scheduled to depart Dubai for an engagement in Paris, France, Persecondnews.com gathered.

Atiku was in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Tuesday for the Southwest stakeholders meeting of the party attended by the party’s big-wigs including Oyo Gov. Seyi Makinde, Osun Governor-elect, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, ex-Osun Governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, ex-Ekiti Gov. Ayo Fayose and governorship candidates from the states in the zone.
