Amid controversy and strident criticisms of a Muslim-Muslim APC presidential ticket for 2023 polls, the publicized official unveiling of former Borno Gov. Kashim Shettima as its vice-presidential candidate scheduled for today has been postponed indefinitely.

The All Progressives Congress had scheduled Shettima’s presentation to members at its National Secretariat in Abuja on Thursday at 1.00pm.

However, an announcement by the APC Press Corps indicated that the event has been shifted till another date.

A credible party source in Lagos told Persecondnews that the unveiling of Shettima has been postponed till next Wednesday.

No reason was given for the postponement.

Persecondnews recalls that Shettima was among party chieftains and governors including the Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who converged on Osogbo Stadium in Osun State yesterday for a mega rally towards mobilizing support for Gov. Gboyega Oyetola’s reelection bid.
