The trio — Precious Nwakacha, Abubakar Sadiq Yusuf Sanga and Dorathy Yohanna — all students of privately-owned Greenfield University, Kaduna, were kidnapped on April 20 in the school.

Three days after, the abductors, who demanded N800 million ransom, killed the three students while still holding on to 19 others including two female staff of the university.
