Olatunde Adegbuyi, a former lecturer in the Department of Geology at the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, has been found dead in his car in the town.
Some passersby discovered the lifeless body of the lecturer in his car parked at a location in the university community.
It was learnt that the car was parked along permanent site road.
The curiosity of residents who noticed that the car had been parked for several hours with the occupant not disembarking, led to the report of the incident to the police.
As at press time, the cause of his death remains a mystery.
Mr Victor Akinpelumi, the university’s spokesman, confirmed the incident.
The Divisional Police headquarters at Akungba is currently investigating the death.
