Released from isolation centre
COVID-19 infected General Manager, NTA Kastina, Alhaji Ayinde Soaga, has tested negative for the virus and has been released from the isolation centre.
In a post on his Facebook page on Saturday, Soaga said: “Thank you all for your support. I have been discharged from the isolating centre. Just tested negative to covid 19.
“Please stay safe together we can fight this deadly virus.’’
Persecondnews recalls that he had some weeks ago posted his positive status on the whatsApp platform of League of Veteran Journalists, Ogun State chapter.
His family also confirmed Soaga’s infection in a statement in Abeokuta, his home town.
The statement signed by Mr Kehinde Soaga on behalf of the family had expressed appreciation to the National Secretariat of NUJ, the Katsina State and FCT Councils of the union as well as many other individuals and groups too numerous to mention for their quick intervention and prayers.
“We thank you all for your deep concern and remarkable show of love for Alhaj Ayinde Soaga.’’
