Worried by the invasion of the court by the Department of State Service (DSS) to rearrest of the onvener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, the House of Representatives has directed  the relevant committees to investigate the incident.

The DSS operatives had on December 6 at the premises of a Federal High Court in Abuja swooped on Sowore causing pandemonium.

The Minority Leader, M Ndudi Elumelu, who raised the matter during plenary on Tuesday, described the occurrence as an abuse on the sanctity of the courtroom.

He said the reported invasion of the courtroom by DSS operatives could  be seen as one arm of government attempting to overpower another.

“This will spell doom for the country’s democracy.”
