Eid-El-Kabir: NNPC chief, others paid courtesy visit to President Buhari

Nigerian state oil corporation chief, Mele Kyari, including state governors of Lagos, Kebbi and Edo states on Tuesday paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari’s home in Daura, as more than half of the country celebrated Eid-El-Kabir these past few days.

Kyari, who is the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC),  joined Babajide Sanwoolu, Lagos state governor and his counterparts from Kebbi, Atiku Bagudu; Kaduna, Nasir El-Rufai and Edo, Godwin Obaseki to pay homage to the president.

Other guests of the president included the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), Governor Kayode Fayemi and the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu.

Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege, and the Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Isa Pantami were also included in the entourage who paid a visit to the president and prayed for his good health.
