Gbaja Emerges Nigeria’s Speaker

Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila has been elected Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives.

He secured 283 votes to defeat his only challenger, Umar Bago who garnered a paltry 76 votes.

His emergence is with mixed feelings with many in Nigeria condemning his candidacy over indictment for theft in Georgia state in America.
