Truck hits Air Peace plane on tarmac at Lagos Airport

Uyo-bound passengers leaving Lagos had to be put on a rescheduled flight after  a truck hit their aircraft.

Corporate Communications Manager of Air Peace, Mr. Chris Iwarah,  confirmed the incident, saying the door of the rear cargo hold of the aircraft was impacted and damaged in the incident.

The incident occurred in the morning during the loading of passengers’ luggage into the cargo hold of the aircraft.

Over 60 Passengers and 3 crew were on board the plane at the time of the incident, but none were reported injured.
