Sylvester Stallone is currently being investigated for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in the 90’s, and detectives say they are gathering evidence to determine whether the crime happened or not, according to Blast
Santa Monica Police Department, says in mid-November a 50-year-old actress filed a report claiming Stallone assaulted her in 1990 at his Santa Monica office.
The cops tell us it will be hard to gather evidence given the alleged crime took place so long ago, but they are “going to try their best.” We’re told the case will be investigated and then presented to the District Attorney for consideration on charges.
Sources close to Stallone tell us he admits he had a romantic relationship with the woman, and in 1987 brought her to Israel while he was filming “Rambo III.” However, we’re told Sly broke things off after he discovered the woman had an estranged husband who was very upset about the actor’s involvement, and also believed the husband may have been connected to someone tossing a molotov cocktail into his backyard.
Cops say if after the investigation it’s concluded that the allegations of sexual misconduct were false, they will change Stallone’s status to a victim in the case. The actor’s attorney has also advised them that if the woman’s allegations are untrue, they will be demanding she be prosecuted for filing a false report.
We’re told Stallone cannot take any sort of criminal action until the investigation is wrapped up, but has been advised he can pursue civil litigation immediately.
