Adeleke Pulls Off Huge Upset in Winning Osun State Senate Seat

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State pulled off a stunning upset in the heavily  APC State of Osun on Saturday, winning Osun West Senatorial District election by polling a total of 97, 280 votes.

Adele won nine out of the 10 local governments in the district.

Mr. Adeleke joined the PDP less than a month before the election, after he faulted the conduct of the primaries of the All Progressives Congress in which he was a contestant.

Mr. Hussein of the APC came a distant second with a total of 66, 115 votes.
