Wike at it again, sacks another commissioner

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has sacked the state Commissioner for Works, Mr. Bathuel Harrison.

The ex- commissioner has been directed to hand over to the permanent secretary in the ministry, according to the governor’s Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.

The commissioner’s sack takes immediate effect, no reason was given for the governor’s decision to dispense with Harrison’s services.

Wike, in February also sacked his Commissioner for Health, Theophilus Ndagene.

Last year the governor sacked his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, Sir Joe Akpa.
