FCT Police Commissioner Miller Dantawaye has redeployed SP Babale Galadima, the errant DPO of Gwarimpa Division, to the Command headquarters with immediate effect.

A senior officer, CSP Nasir Gusau has been deployed as the new Divisional Police Officer of Gwarimpa Division.

The redeployment is to facilitate administrative disciplinary proceedings against him following public allegations of professional misconduct.

According to PPRO SP Josephine Adeh, this move reinforces the CP’s directive for all officers to be professional and courteous, stressing that misconduct or abuse of office will not be tolerated and will result in sanctions.

The statement sent to Persecondnews on Saturday reads: “In the same vein, the CP has approved the posting of CSP Nasir Gusau as the new Divisional Police Officer of Gwarimpa Division with immediate effect.

“He charged the new DPO to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ensure respect for human rights, maintain civility in engagements with the public, and align fully with the Command’s strategic operational goals.

“The CP appeals to residents of Gwarimpa and its environs to cooperate with the new DPO and continue to support the Police in their collective effort to maintain peace, law, and public safety within the Division.”
