The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has received a mid-year report of activities from the Sport Integrity Foundation, a partner organization dedicated to promoting integrity in sports, pledging collaboration.
NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, expressed the federation’s appreciation for the Sport Integrity Foundation’s efforts, describing them as a vital partner in promoting Nigerian football’s growth.
Sanusi commended the foundation’s contributions, highlighting the NFF’s commitment to ethics and integrity in the sport.
“The NFF board is very committed to ethics and integrity, and we’re doing everything to make sure that anybody trying to bring the game into disrepute will be punished,” he said.
The NFF stressed the need for collaboration with law enforcement agencies to ensure that individuals who breach the rules are held accountable.
Sanusi said the federation valued the work of the Sport Integrity Foundation, saying, “You are becoming an important eye for the integrity of the game.”
The Sport Integrity Foundation delegation, which included the Coordinator, Abiola Shodiya and members – Sammy Ejegwa, Georgina Bode, and Taofeek Lawal – was commended for its initiative in promoting integrity in Nigerian football.
The NFF reaffirmed its commitment to working with the foundation to promote a culture of integrity and transparency in the sport.
