The newly appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd, Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has committed to building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to fulfill President Bola Tinubu’s mandate for the company.

This move aims to drive progress in Nigeria’s energy sector.

Ojulari said this during a courtesy visit to the Minister of Petroleum Resources (Oil), Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, on Wednesday.

He emphasized the importance of unified efforts and institutional synergy in driving sustainable progress in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

“We are stepping into office with a collaborative spirit and a clear focus on impact,” Ojulari said.

“Our success will be built on meaningful partnerships particularly with the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, the Ministry of Finance, and other critical institutions.

“Bureaucratic bottlenecks can only be overcome when we operate as a cohesive unit,” the NNPCL boss stated.

According to him, industry progress relies on mutual understanding and collective action, rather than isolated efforts.

“Collaboration, not antagonism, is the key to success. By working together, we can achieve shared goals and drive growth in the industry.”

Responding, Lokpobiri expressed confidence in the new leadership of NNPC Ltd, noting that he has known several members of the team personally and that he holds them in high esteem.

“This is arguably the strongest leadership team NNPC Ltd has ever assembled. The real challenge now is to turn that strength into tangible results most importantly, by boosting crude oil production and delivering maximum value to the Nigerian people,” he said.

Lokpobiri assured Mr. Ojulari of his full support, affirming that his office would provide the necessary strategic guidance and enabling environment for NNPC Ltd to flourish.
