Tragedy hits Lagos Police Command as DPO collapses, dies in office

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Ijanikin Divisional Headquarters in Lagos State, CSP Bolaji Olugbenga, has slumped and passed away in his office.

The DPO was said to have slumped in the office and died before he could be rushed to a hospital on Thursday night, Persecondnews gathered.

The command spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the death of the officer late on Friday.

Hundeyin, however, did not provide details about the officer or the circumstances surrounding his death.

Meanwhile, the officer’s body has been deposited at a mortuary for autopsy.
