The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Abuja, Justice John Terhemba Tsoho, has released new postings for the court’s judges to the various divisions across the country.
The postings follow the appointment of 23 new judges.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Assistant Director, Information, of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Catherine Oby Christopher, on Wednesday.
The Chief Judge directed the affected judges to report at their duty stations before the date of resumption from the Christmas vacation, being January 8, 2023.
Persecondnews reports that the 23 judges were appointed on October 1, and were sworn in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, on October 4, 2023.
The new judges are Dipeolu Deinde Isaac from Ogun State; Ogundare Kehinde Olayiwola from Ekiti State; Agbaje Olufunmilola Adetutu from Lagos State; Musa Kakaki from Kaduna State; Abdullahi Muhammad Dan-Ige from Sokoto State; and Sharon Tanko Ishaya from Kebbi State, respectively.
Others are Salim Olasupo Ibrahim from Ogun State; Yilwa Hauwa Joseph from Gombe State; Wigwe-Oreh Chituru Joy from Rivers State; Owoeye Alexander Oluseyi from Kogi State and Anyalewa Onoja-Alapa from Benue State
Amina Aliyu Mohammad from Katsina State; Abiodun Jordan Adeyemi from Kwara State; Hauwa Buhari from Federal Capital Territory and Aishatu Auta Ibrahim from Borno state also made the list.
