The huge hype that welcomed the superhero sequel of marvel’s ‘Black Panther, Wakanda Forever movie to cinemas appeared to have yielded positive results for the top-rated movie.
Per Seconds News gathered that the movie has now earned a whopping $84 million on it’s opening across cinemas.
According to information obtained from Variety, this amount is from 4, 396 locations which makes it the second biggest opening day of the year after ‘Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness’ which brought in $90.4 million. Dr. Strange is another Marvel movie.
‘Black Panther, Wakanda Forever, follows the story of a fictional African country as it copes with the loss of King T’Challa, played in the 2018 original by Chadwick Boseman.
The lead actor, Boseman, died of colon cancer in August 2020 as many had feared his death would cast a doubt on the success of the movie but that was not to be.
