CBN Governor, Emefiele, Science Minister, Onu, announce presidential ambition

Two more presidential aspirants have announced their presence on the political turf ahead of APC primaries.

They are the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonaya Onu and the Central Bank Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele.

The duo has swelled the number of presidential aspirants on APC platform to 20.

Onu has  picked the Nomination and Expression of Interest forms.

So far, 18 Presidential aspirants had picked expression of interest forms to contest the APC  fixed for May 30, 2022.

Persecondnews recalls that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC National Leader, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Sen. Rochas Okorocha, former Abia Governor, Orji Kalu, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Ameachi, Sen. Ken Nnamani are among those who have publicly announced their presidential bids

In the opposition party, the PDP, the likes of Senator Bukola, Saraki, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, Governor Aminu Tanbuwa of Sokoto State, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar,  Governor, Nyeson Wike of Rivers State and others are already in the race to contest the party’s presidential primaries.
