With airlines around the world having parked many of their aircraft because of low demand for air travel, all airplane leasing companies are scrambling to place their jets.

Arik air is seizing what it sees as an opportunity to advance its business as competitors stumble.

The carrier has a fleet size of 18 aircraft and 14 of those planes are currently in active service.

Arik air aircraft average age is 13.3 years according to Per Second News findings. The airline has 5 – 737s, 1- Bombardier CRJ-1000, 4- Bombardier CRJ-900, 4- De Havilland Canada DHC-8 Dash 8.
