Groom’s death few hours to wedding shocks, grieves bride, families, church

A bride, families and church in Jos, Plateau State, have been thrown into grief following the sudden death of a groom, Samuel Yarling few hours to the nuptials.

For grief-stricken guests and ministers of God at ECWA Church Seminary, venue of the wedding scheduled for Saturday, March 21, the incident is one death too many.
“It is devastating, painful, shocking and mysterious,” a grieving source said.

Samuel’s death on his wedding day is a terrible blow to his bride, both families, the community and the church.
The shock has sent Samuel’s heartthrob, Helen Weze, a nurse, on admission at the Bingham University Teaching Hospital (BHUT), Jos.
According to family sources, Samuel was full of life before his untimely death without any sign of illness.
“Samuel he had gone to pick his wedding suit at his sister’s house about 12.00 am and while there, he fell on the ground and had a slight bruise on his head.

” it was treated at a nearby patent medicine store while he and friend left for their guest house to pass the night.

“After about an hour of their arrival at the guest house, the late Yarling began to vomit uncontrollably.

“They called for help and he was rushed to Bingham University Teaching Hospital for treatment but was confirmed dead on arrival,” the source said.
