Again, the Supreme Court of Nigeria, in continuation of its rounds judgment on governorship polls, has upheld the election of Samuel Ortom of the People’s Democratic Party, the Governor of Benue State.

It dismissed an appeal by Mr Emmanuel Jime, candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the March 9, 2019 governorship poll.

The panel of seven Justices led by Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour dismissed the appeal filed by the APC and its governorship candidate for what it called lacking in merit.
