President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived the Saudi Kingdom for the 14th Islamic Summit conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to be held in Makkah on Friday. The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, Summit, is the second-largest inter-government organisation after the United Nations.
Atrocities, gross human rights violations, crimes against humanity, and staggering brutality of the Myanmar security forces against ethnic Rohingya Muslims is likely to get prominence at the summit, Per Second News gathered.
The rising US rift with Iran will also be addressed.
In addition to the OIC meeting, Saudi Arabia is also hosting the summits of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Arab League.
