In a tense semifinal clash at Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, Morocco edged out Nigeria 4-2 on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

The standout performer was Moroccan keeper Yassine Bounou, whose penalty-saving masterclass proved the difference.

The result ended a dominant run for Nigeria, who had won every match leading up to the semifinal but failed to convert their momentum into goals when it mattered most.

In the penalty shootout, Morocco converted four of their spot-kicks, while Nigeria missed two, securing Morocco’s place in the final.
