Nollywood actress Mosun Filani has announced her readiness to return to acting after taking a break from the industry to focus on her family.
Explaining her temporary departure from the screen, Filani shared that she stepped back to focus entirely on raising her family.
Now that her children are older and more independent, she feels ready to resume her acting career.
“I stopped acting to face my family. My kids are grown, they know left from right, and it’s time for me to get back to acting,” she said.
Addressing long-standing rumors about her personal life, the actress also set the record straight regarding claims that she is a second wife.
According to the actress, although her husband may have been married before she met him, she did not meet another woman living in his home when she got married.
“I’m not a second wife. My husband might have had a marriage before, but I didn’t meet anyone in his house,” she said.
She further dismissed speculation that women were driven out of her husband’s home because of her, stressing that there were no women living there when she became his wife.
“I didn’t meet any woman in my husband’s house, so there was no reason for anybody to have been driven away from the house.”
