Fire Breaks Out at MMIA Terminal 2 Lagos

A fire has broken out at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, according to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

FAAN spokesperson Henry Agbebire confirmed the incident in a statement on Sunday, stating that airport firefighting teams are currently on the scene working to extinguish the flames.

While the exact time the fire started has not been disclosed, officials confirmed there are currently no reported casualties.

Further updates are expected as the operation continues.
