Breaking: Students Abducted As Gunmen Invade Borno School During NECO Exam

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have abducted students and teachers during an attack on Government Day Secondary School in Lassa, Askira/Uba LGA of Borno State, while candidates were writing the ongoing NECO examinations.

The assailants, said to be dressed in military camouflage and riding motorcycles, reportedly stormed the community on a busy market day, killing at least one teacher and throwing residents into panic.

Confirming the incident, Borno State Police spokesperson ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso said authorities are gathering evidence as investigations and search-and-rescue operations continue.
