Amid mounting online pressure, Nigerian singer Chike has broken his silence regarding allegations linking him to the collapsed marriage of media personality Frank Edoho and his ex-wife, Sandra Onyenucheya.

Responding to the growing backlash, the singer pleaded with fans and critics to “have mercy” on his soul.

The singer has recently found himself at the centre of intense conversations across social media platforms, where users repeatedly accused him of allegedly being involved in the breakdown of the former couple’s marriage.

The controversy reignited after old claims and social media discussions resurfaced online, drawing fresh attention to the singer’s personal life.

Although Chike did not directly confirm or deny the allegations, he appeared emotionally drained by the constant attacks and scrutiny.

In a short message dropped on his social media platform obtained by Persecondnews, the singer said:” Pity My Soul”, in what is believed to be his subtle way of appealing to fans and critics who have continued to drag him on the matter.

The music star urged people to stop dragging him endlessly over issues he has consistently avoided speaking about publicly.

His emotional reaction immediately triggered mixed responses online.

While some fans sympathized with the singer and argued that the public had become too harsh in judging celebrities without concrete facts, others insisted that public curiosity around the matter would continue because of the longstanding rumours surrounding him and Sandra.

The controversy has lingered for years within entertainment circles, especially after speculation emerged shortly after Frank Edoho’s separation from his former wife became public knowledge.

Social media users frequently linked Chike’s name to Sandra, leading to persistent online conversations that have refused to fade away completely.

Persecondnews recalls that Edoho, the one-time iconic host of Nigeria’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, has previously spoken about his failed marriage but has never publicly pointed fingers at anyone for the split.
