NSCDC FC cruised to a 2-0 victory over Likeminds FC at the Area 10 match centre on Tuesday.
The Nationwide League One (NLO) Division One clash was decided by two clinical finishes that left the hosts with no answer at the final whistle.
The breakthrough came in the 22nd minute when Dangiwa Zaria opened his account for the visitors, calmly slotting the ball home to break the deadlock.
Despite their efforts, Likeminds FC struggled to find a rhythm before the interval, trailing 1-0 as both sides headed into the locker rooms at half-time.
The second half saw NSCDC FC maintain control, and they doubled their advantage in the 81st minute through Philip Kayode, who made it 2-0.
Likeminds FC pushed for a late reply but could not breach the NSCDC defence.
At full time in Area 10, the final score read Likeminds FC 0-2 NSCDC FC, with Dangiwa Zaria and Philip Kayode both getting on the scoresheet for the winners.
