Anambra Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has officially been sworn in for a second term.
The inauguration ceremony, held at the Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, drew a distinguished audience of local and international guests.
APGA Governor Soludo arrived at the venue at 11:18 a.m., accompanied by a high-powered delegation including Vice President Kashim Shettima and former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan.
Other notable attendees included former Commonwealth Secretary-General Chief Emeka Anyaoku, a son of the soil, and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
At 11:50 a.m., supported by his wife, Dr. Nonye Soludo, the governor took the oath of allegiance followed by the oath of office.
The process concluded at 11:55 a.m. as he signed the official documents before the State Chief Judge, marking the formal start of a mandate that will run until 2030.
