Anthony Joshua Crash: TRACE Speaks, Reveals Investigation Status

The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Safety Enforcement Corps (TRACE) has issued a detailed report on a fatal collision involving world-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua which left two fatalities.

The accident occurred at midday today, December 29, 2025, while Joshua was traveling toward Lagos.

According to a statement from TRACE official K. A. Ojerinde, eyewitnesses reported that a Lexus SUV (registration KRD 850 HN) driven by the boxer suffered a front tire blowout.

The vehicle subsequently rammed into the rear of a stationary, unregistered Sinotruck parked in front of the Snoma company premises.

Of the four occupants in the Lexus, two Caucasian males died instantly; their remains have been transported to the Livewell private morgue in Sagamu.

Anthony Joshua and the driver were rescued from the wreckage by DSS operatives attached to his convoy and moved to an undisclosed hospital.

While the Lexus has been moved to the Sagamu MTD office, the truck remains at the scene, which has been cordoned off by authorities.
