Afrobeats legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, has broken his silence amid the fresh turbulence shaking his marriage to Natasha, urging fans, friends, and family members to “cease fire” and stop painting his wife as the villain in the unfolding drama.

The new wave of controversy erupted after a viral video showed the singer being arrested in London, followed by a tense altercation with Natasha during an Instagram Live session.

The incident ignited speculation, with many expressing concern that the celebrated African Queen crooner was losing control of his life.

But in a new video obtained by PerSecondNews, 2Baba appeared calm, composed, and firm as he declared that he was “fine” and fully in charge of his situation.

The singer stressed that while the public may be alarmed, he is neither helpless nor unaware of the seriousness of the moment.

“I am okay,” he said, maintaining a steady gaze into the camera.

“People should stop painting Natasha as the devil. Every home has their challenges, and we cannot dictate how things should be done for them. Please, I appeal to my fans and family members to cease fire and maintain peace.”

His statement comes at a time when social media has been buzzing with accusations, counter-claims, and heated takes from supporters and critics alike.

Many had already concluded that Natasha was responsible for the latest upheaval, leading to a digital mob hurling insults and attacks in her direction.

According to him, the situation is not as chaotic as the online frenzy suggests, and he intends to manage his private affairs without external interference.

The legendary hitmaker emphasised that marital issues are complex and should not be judged through the lens of a few viral videos or exaggerated narratives shared on social media.

He insisted that he and Natasha deserve the space to resolve their matters in peace.

Despite the arrest incident and the contentious online exchange, sources close to the singer say he has been in communication with his inner circle, assuring them that he is safe and in control.

2Baba’s call for calm appears to be a strategic move to protect his wife from escalating cyberbullying, while also shielding his family from further public dissection.

Observers note that this is not the first time 2Baba has stepped forward to de-escalate a storm surrounding his personal life.

The singer has often advocated for privacy, patience, and mutual respect when family matters spill into the public space.
