The Super Eagles have begun their preparations for the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff match against Gabon, with 21 players already in camp in Rabat, Morocco.

The team, led by captain William Troost-Ekong, held their first training session on Monday under the guidance of head coach Eric Chelle.

The squad is looking strong, with key players like Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, and Wilfred Ndidi in attendance.

Other notable players in camp include Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegun, Moses Simon, and Chidozie Awaziem.

Three more players are expected to join the team before the match against Gabon.

Their current mission is to return to the stage, following their last appearance in Russia 2018.
