Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen will line up for Galatasaray tonight in a UEFA Champions League showdown against Bodo/Glimt at Rams Park, chasing a club record.

The 26‑year‑old is on the brink of becoming the first Galatasaray player to net in seven straight European fixtures, having already matched Burak Yılmaz’s six‑match streak with his decisive goal in the 1‑0 win over Liverpool last month.

After a brief cameo in Galatasaray’s 2‑1 triumph over Istanbul Başakşehir, Osimhen has tallied three goals in seven games across all competitions this season and is expected to lead the attack for the Yellow and Reds.

Galatasaray, sitting atop the Turkish Super Lig, enter the matchday 3 clash on a mixed note: a 5‑1 thrashing by Eintracht Frankfurt followed by the victory over Liverpool.

The Nigerian international, who commanded a €75 million permanent transfer this summer, remains vital to Galatasaray’s fortunes both domestically and in Europe.

If Osimhen scores, he won’t just register a goal; he will also break Burak Yılmaz’s 2012 record and etch his name into the club’s European lore.
