Fulham is on the verge of signing Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan, according to reports.
The Premier League club has been in advanced negotiations with the Italian giants to secure the player’s services before the transfer window closes.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed via his X handle that Fulham is advancing in talks for Chukwueze, saying, “Fulham are advancing in talks for both Kevin from Shakhtar and Samu Chukwueze from AC Milan.
“Negotiations underway to get both right and left wingers before the window closes. €25m package discussed with Milan for Samu, fee over €40m discussed with Shakhtar for Kevin”.
This suggests that the deal is progressing well, with both clubs working quickly to reach an agreement.
Chukwueze joined AC Milan from Villarreal in 2023 but has struggled to make a significant impact, scoring only eight goals in 69 appearances.
Despite this, Fulham sees potential in the 26-year-old winger and is willing to take a chance on him.
Chukwueze’s departure from AC Milan seems imminent, with the club evaluating various options.
If the deal goes through, Chukwueze will likely bring a new dynamic to Fulham’s attack.
With his speed and agility, he could be a valuable addition to the team.
