Tragedy has struck once again at the Karu Bridge, notorious for deadly road crashes and a vital link between Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory, with another reported accident.

Eyewitness accounts indicate that the incident involved a trailer and a truck used for distributing sachet water.

At the time of this report, no deaths have been confirmed.

Persecondnews notes that this road, which forms part of the Nyanya-Keffi route connecting Benue and Plateau states, has tragically witnessed at least three fatal accidents already this year.

Emergency response teams are currently on-site, though the precise number of individuals injured remains unconfirmed.
