The National Sports Commission (NSC) has announced the opening of media accreditations for the coverage of the 22nd edition of the National Sports Festival, tagged “Gateways Games” in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, holding from May 16-30, 2025.

All interested media practitioners are advised to register and log on to the portal with their full names, medium, telephone number, email address and a passport photograph.

A statement obtained by Persecondnews said the media accreditation for the Gateway Games has officially opened from Saturday, April 12, 2025 and will officially close on April 19, 2025.

“While the National Sports Commission through the Media Sub Committee for the games would have loved to accommodate every applicant for the accreditation, it is however very important to inform all intending applicants that registration for accreditation does not automatically guarantee approval of such application.

“The Media Sub Committee of the Games therefore urges every applicant to properly fill their application and respond swiftly to this announcement,” Kehinde Ajayi, the Director of Information and PR at NSC, said.
