The Federal Government has announced a significant boost in revenue generated from marriage contracts and expatriate quota applications to the tune of N5.6 billion.

According to the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo on Tuesday, the government earned about N2.4 billion from marriage contracts in 2024 through its marriage registry at the Ministry of Interior.
