Erling Haaland has penned a groundbreaking contract extension with Manchester City, cementing his position as one of the highest-paid players in the sport.

Since arriving at the club, the Norwegian sensation has consistently dazzled fans with his impressive performances, and this monumental deal reflects his immense value to the team.

“I’m super happy, proud. “I’m looking forward to staying here for a long time. Now I can fully focus on getting better because I am going to stay here for such a long time.

“Full focus on performing and getting better to give all of the fans what they want,” he said.

Haaland’s decision to commit to Manchester City for the long haul is a significant coup for the club, which has been charged with 130 breaches of Premier League rules.

The striker’s extension is a testament to his faith in the club’s vision and his desire to create a lasting legacy at the Etihad Stadium.

“It is a really welcoming club where you get really taken care of,” Haaland added. “I think that is also really important when you speak with people.

“You really feel at home here and that is the first amazing thing. Second of all, when I spoke to Pep, the best manager in the world, it is also a great thing to speak with him and to train and play under him every single day.”

Director of Football Txiki Begiristain hailed Haaland’s extension as a demonstration of the club’s commitment to the striker and his love for the club.

“The fact he is signed for so long demonstrates our commitment to him as a player and his love of this club,” Begiristain said.

“He has made an incredible impact already in his time here and his amazing numbers and records speak for themselves.”

Haaland’s extension is a major boost for Manchester City, which has been struggling to find its rhythm this season.

The striker’s commitment to the club is a testament to his faith in the team’s ability to bounce back and achieve success.

“I am really confident that we will turn things around,” Haaland said.

“Things have been difficult as we are so used to winning games, but also it is a challenge for us.”
