Ahead of the Saturday, October 16 governorship poll in Ondo State, sensitive materials have arrived in the state capital, Akure.
The Nigerian Air Force flew the materials to the state and delivered them to officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) branch.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced this on its official X page on Monday.
The statement said: “Breaking News! Sensitive materials for the Ondo State governorship election, scheduled for Saturday, 16th November 2024, have arrived in Akure, the state capital, and have been received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
“The materials were conveyed to Akure by the Nigerian Air Force.”
