Paralympic Games: Team Nigeria Fails to Qualify for Para-Table Tennis Quarterfinals

Team Nigeria suffered two losses in the R16 ties at the ongoing Paralympic Games and missed out on a chance in the quarterfinals of their classifications.

Persecondnews reports that in the men’s singles class 9, Wali Abiola Adesope lost in straight set to his French opponent Lucas Didier, losing the match by 3-0 (11-9, 11-4, 11-6).

While in the women’s singles class 5, Christiana Alabi fought very hard, particularly in the last two sets, but lost to her Chilean opponent Tamara Leonelli by 3-1 (11-8, 11-5, 10-12, 12-10).
