Former Super Eagles defender, Sam Sodje, has advised the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to employ capable local coaches to support the new handler of the team, Bruno Labbadia.
Persecondnews reported that the NFF announced Labbadia’s appointment in the early hours of Tuesday on its X handle.
It stated: “The Nigeria Football Federation has announced that it has reached an agreement with German tactician Bruno Labbadia to become the Head Coach of Nigeria’s senior men’s national team, the Super Eagles.”
Reacting, Sodje believed appointing quality assistants would make things easier for the new coach.
“The NFF should bring people that know what they are bringing to the table for this man,” Sodje told Brila FM.
“Make sure they are technically sound to be able to contribute to this man’s ideas.”
