“Five minutes into added time, Mokoena sealed the major win for South Africa as they advanced to the next round”

Bafana Bafana fans will not forget the San Pedro Stadium as the South African made the Atlas Lion toothless with a 2-0 goal victory over the number one ranked African team.

South Africa went ahead in the 57th minute through Magokpa, with Morocco having the chance to level up late on in the game from the spot, but Achraf Hakimi missed.

Five minutes into added time, Mokoena sealed the major win for South Africa as they advanced to the next round.

Bafana Bafana will face Cape Verde on Saturday in the quarterfinals.
